Christmas Time Is Here

I know many of you are beyond excited that it’s almost Christmas! It is certainly a season worthy of celebration, from cold weather to delicious food, presents and presence, the Seekers Christmas party and most importantly Jesus’ birth its a very exciting time of year!

As you and your family prepare to celebrate Jesus’ incarnation into our sinful and broken world, remember to allow Him space in every aspect of your own life. Whether you’re at school or work, at home cooking dinner or relaxing, or out and about shopping. Jesus’ presence is an essential part of everything we do. Speaking of things we do, check out some of these opportunities to come together as we prepare for Christmas!

Seekers Christmas Party

December 16, 2018- It’s that time of the year! OUr annual Seekers Christmas party will be happening on Sunday, December 16 from 5pm-8pm. OUr party this year will be a formal event, so come dressed to impress in whatever formal wear you have or want to borrow. As usual, bring a wrapped, ZERO COST gift for our gift exchange. You cannot spend money on the gift. It can be either something funny, something completely useless, something home-made, or whatever creative alternative you can think of. Finally, bring along a dish to share for dinner (usually finger food works great, but whatever). See you there!

We will be holding two information meetings about our spring mission trip to Detroit, Michigan. God is in Control

Lock-In!

On Friday, January 4 we will once again be partnering with Peace Lutheran Church in Conway for our annual lock-in! This year’s theme is “Control”, a look at our desire for control in our lives and what it means to give control over to a loving God who knows what is best for us. Peace will be hosting the event this year, so we’ll meet at OSL at 6pm to drive over. The event will end at 10am on Saturday, January 5. You can pick-up at Peace, or wait for us to make it back to OSL. More details will be coming at the event approaches!
