At The Lookout over the past two weeks we’ve been talking about prayer: the importance of coming to God in prayer wherever and whenever as well as the freedom to bring to God anything and everything that we have going on in our lives. Prayer is a blessing and a powerful tool at our disposal, so let’s use it!
If you don’t already, block off time in your day to spend dedicated to coming to god in prayer- a time when you’re not feeling rushed or pressured to do something else. In your prayer, don’t forget to remember the ministry happening in the lives of young people within Seekers Student Ministry. God is doing awesome things in the lives and hearts of these students!
One more week! The Lookout has just one more meeting time for our winter session, Wednesday February 7 at 7:00pm. We’ll be wrapping up our series on prayer before we head into lent the following Wednesday. Be encouraged to keep coming on Wednesdays in lent at 6:00pm for a meal and 7:00pm for worship!
There will be no Youth Discipleship this Sunday, February 4th or the following Sunday, February 11th. We’ll start back up on Sunday, February 18th where we’ll be covering a life lesson- “How to Write a Budget”.
Super Bowl Party!
On Sunday, February 4th starting at 5:00pm we will be watching the Super Bowl in the fellowship hall! Bring a tasty dish to share and all the friends and family you can manage. We’ll have a couple giveaways again this year and the event is open to the entire family. See you there! See the Event on the Calendar or the Youth Ministry Page
