You are Loved

And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said ‘it is more blessed to gie than to receive.’

Acts 20: 35

Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing

1 Thes 5:11

Do you know how much you are loved? Do you know how valuable you are? The above passages remind me that giving love and comfort with the love of Jesus can not only build another up but edify those around me. Are you waiting for others to build you up or are you so filled up that it overflows naturally to others. Time spent with Jesus is never wasted time. Did you know that prayer unlocks the doors of heaven?

Let’s Pray

Dear Jesus we come before you with grateful hearts. We thank you that you have loved us with an everlasting love and underneath are your everlasting arms. Lord draw us to your throne throughout each day by reading your word and listening to your voice through word and prayer. Lord I pray that the overflow of our time spent with you would be blessing my family and those I encounter with patience, love, and kindness.

Lord I pray I can be quick to listen and slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Dear Lord let my words bring comfort and edify others rather than seeking approval of others. Lord I do not want to become so empty physically, spiritually, or emotionally that I have nothing to give. Alert me Lord when I am feeling anxious and weary, that it is time to spend time with you. Holy Spirit fill me up so that I overflow with the love and comfort of Jesus. Help me with I am feeling weak and remind me that when I am weak you are strong. Thank you Lord that you are walking with me every second of every day and that even when I am not mindful of you. You are mindful of me.

In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN
