The Abounding Love of God

This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Are you face with daily decisions of what ifs and how to’s? do you feel you know the answer, (that still quiet voice) but you do go with the”knowing”? Instead you aver analyze the outcomes until fear and even anger overpower your trust and surrender? Well let’s remember that prayer is the key that unlocks the door of heaven so that God’s will WILL be done and HIS kingdom will come on Earth as it is in heaven. Prayer is a 2 way conversation with the lover of you heart and soul. PRAY LISTEN and OBEY.

Philippians 1:9-10

                                              LETS PRAY

Thank you God that your love abounds and even dances over your children.  Teach us Lord to love and trust you more. Draw us to your Word and teach us to hear you voice so that we can be confident in the knowledge you show us and able to discern what is best. Forgive us when we grow apathetic and lazy and open ourselves up to every temptation. Draw us back into your presence.

Today Lord we lift our pastors, teachers, parents, healthcare workers and again our trusted goverment leaders in our country and throughout the world to you. They are weary. Lord, please give them rest and an extra measure of grace and wisdom. Draw them to your throne. We thank you in advance for how much stronger and trusting our country, our churches, our families  our healcare system, and our world will be as we look back on this time.

Lord, as we approach the holy days of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter, search our hearts “so that we may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ’. Teach us each morning to daily surrender to your will so as each evening comes we may give thanks for hearing your voice throughout the day. Help us to hear that courageous YES and that confident NO as we walk through our day with you. We thank you God for sending   your Son to die on the cross as payment for our sins. We thank you He did not stay in the tomb but rose so that we may have life abundantly. We thank you that when He ascended into heaven you sent us the Holy Spirit who now teaches us the wisdom and discernment for which we pray. To God be the glory.  Hallelujah and AMEN!

                                                             BE ENCOURAGED,
                                                                                              Lucy
