Seeing Miracles

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father. And whatever you ask in My name , that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14: 12-13

Are you waiting and anticipating that lightening strike miracle and seeing it first hand? Or can you even believe that the Father through Jesus would involve you in such a work? My friends sometimes reading these verses we often can miss the point. It ALL has to do with the relationship with the Son to the Father and the Son to us to the Father! Later in verse 16 He says, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another HELPER, that HE may abide with you forever”. Instead of waiting for that lightening strike miracle, let’s see God’s handiwork daily as He knits our lives together and involves us in the salvation of others. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are working together for our good. Did you know that prayer unlocks the doors of heaven so that THY kingdom may come on earth as it is in heaven?

Let’s Pray

Dear Lord,

We thank and praise you for the many blessings we see in our midst. Forgive us for grumbling and complaining about things we have no control over. Forgive  us for becoming numb or complacent to people who are hurting and in despair. Give us a glimpse of heaven so that our eyes are refocused on You.  Lord today, touch each heart that has grown weary; bring joy and strength and a hope that will not disappoint. Lord, we lift the person that feels that their life has little value; by your Holy Spirit,  let them know you have a special work for them in the kingdom.  Comfort them Lord and bring others around them  to help carry the burden.  Father, help us each to anticipate being used by you for the works you are doing in our lives and others. Thank you that your word says that we will do even greater works. Teach us to have faith and to trust you always and in all ways. To you oh Lord be glorified.

In Jesus name, AMEN

                                      Be ENCOURAGED, Lucy
