Love, Grace and Mercy

For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only Son; that whosoever believes in Him, will not perish by have life everlasting.

John 3: 16

Neither height not depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 39

But God demonstrates His love for us in this. While we were still sinners Christ died for us.

Romans 5: 8

The Lord your God is with you. The Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3: 17

Do you really know how much the Lord loves you? Can you grasp the fact that you are the “crown of His creation” and “the apple of His eye”? It is completely true. Those are just a few of the verse that remind us of this. However, the whole Bible is filled with His letters to you. In these days when our fuse can be short and our character flaws magnified for all to see, be reminded. His grace and mercy are new every day and His love for us NEVER changes. The Zephanniah verse has even been translated that He dances over you with great delight. I love that!!

Let Us Pray

Thank you Jesus, that even while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us Lord, and help us live with thankful hearts, not just in this season of Thanksgiving but always. Dear Lord, teach us to live with humility and grateful hearts, not with the guilt and shame that can so easily overcome us. Dear Lord, when things seem to be spinning out of control, draw us to your word, that reminds us who is in control and who created the world and everyone in it. We thank you that you love and died for all. Help us to be the vessels of peace, love and joy to all those around us. To you be the glory as we give thanks that absolutely nothing can separate us from your love!!

In Jesus’ name AMEN
